Colour scheme

I chose the red black and white colour scheme because it links to my audience and genre well, for example; the black is bold and is similar to that of rock/pop as it is bold and stands out. The black also links to my audience of females as black is commonly thought of as an elegant colour which is appealing to women. The colour red is my main colour choice, this will be for the magazine name, drop caps, page numbers and some key text. This colour links well to my audience of women as red is associated with provocativeness which is a very dominating female image. It also links to my genre as red is bold and eye catching.
